Special Thanks to UCSS and UCDC Students

On 1st August 2009, 77 certificates of appreciation were given to UCSS and UCDC students. The certificates were awarded to the students for their efforts in organizing a spectacular fashion show last June.

The President of UCSS, Ms. Chheng Sovannka expressed her gratitude to Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, President of UC, for his continuous support towards extra curricular activities, during her opening statements. 

Ms. Sovannka said that the support of Dr. Kao was a great motivator for students to achieve project goals.  

During her speech, Ms. Sovannka also praised the involvement of Ms. Gina Lopez, as the advisor for the 2009 Fashion Show. Besides Ms. Lopez, performers and staff who assisted during the process leading up to the event and on the day of the show were also recognized as well.

Faculty members as well as students are filled with anticipation for next year’s fashion show.
